Lee van Cleef

OK, I'll bite. What does this picture have to do with Lee Van Cleef?

the logical connection is quite simple: i used to hear an army term about staff sergeants that went something like this: when the sergeant shadow is long it means the sun is setting. in reference to something about short poeple casting long shadows. in "the good the bad and the ugly" tuco says : I like big fat men like you. When they fall, they make more noise. And sometimes they never get up.
and of course the shadow refers to lee van cleefs character, though in the movie, there are no shadows anywhere. only metaphors of them.

in reality there is no literal connection. though it makes for interesting questions...
